Participants work with artists in the disciplines of creative writing, dance, music, theatre, and visual art in hands-on workshops in a transformational model of arts integration that is useful for any educator interested in how the arts and learning are connected. Leadership Institute for Education In and Through the Arts: Offered by the Center for Integrated Arts Education at the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. The institute examines the role of the arts in exemplary educational practice.  Purposes, concepts, and critical issues in the disciplines of theatre, music, visual arts and mixed discipline art forms are discussed and applied to k-12 education.
